29 – 31 Portage Road, New Lynn

A rough ex manufacturing facility in sought after semi retail, main road location. The original plans were to subdivide the property into three small commercial office, showroom units. However, prior to completion of plans and consent, a single, retail furniture tenant, Zhong Ze Group was secured for the total property, and then the property on-sold to a private investor for settlement on completion.

Mike Wood, Location Group’s in-house Construction Director, undertook the upgrade, which was successfully completed in 2007.

Although a small transaction for the Group, this project highlights our continued interest in both small and large projects, providing the real estate possesses that crucial ingredient of “location”.
